We Partner with Parents

Perspectives believes that parental involvement in the educational activities of the school is essential to a students’ success in his/her academic endeavors. In keeping with this core belief, we coordinate and integrate a robust parental involvement policy.

Upcoming Parent Events:

April 5-14: Scholastic Book Fair-- Come and support your student's literacy while raising money for our school.

April 6: Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences-- Partner with us and discuss your student's progress with their teachers

April 9: Honor Roll Breakfast-- Celebrating our students who have excelled in the clsasroom for the third quarter

April 15: Quarterly Parent Meeting-- Catch up on the events of the past quarter and hear about the exciting things planned for the fourth quarter

Parent Involvement Policy:

Parent Meetings and Mandatory Three-Way Conferences and Contract
Perspectives requires all parents and students to attend parent-student-teacher conferences at the beginning of each year and twice during the year.

Student Discipline Concerns
Perspectives administrators will regularly contact parents when students are referred for disciplinary reasons.

No Child Left Behind and Accountability
Perspectives will also hold an annual parent awareness meeting for input in the No Child Left Behind legislation and other accountability issues.

Student Progress Reports
Perspectives provides frequent reports to parents on their student's progress. Progress reports are sent home every four weeks. In addition, parent folders will be sent home each month. These folders are filled with important information and must be returned to the school with a parent signature.
